Abstract

Mixed spinel hydrophobic Zn_xFe_1-xO·Fe ₂O₃ (up to x = 0.34) nanoparticles encapsulated in polymeric micelles exhibited increased T₂ relaxivity and sensitivity of detection over clinically used Feridex®.
