Abstract

The mechanism of T-wave inversion in an emotionally unstable patient was studied by means of continuous electrocardiographic tracings. It was demonstrated that these changes resulted from (1) the probable endogenous production of small amounts of Adrenalin during anxiety; (2) hypersensitivity of the myocardium to Adrenalin.
