Abstract
In summary, systemic sclerosis is a chronic inflammatory disease that can affect both the subcutaneous tissue and viscera. Clinical symptoms due to tissue fibrosis, vascular damage, and the generation of antinuclear antibodies. Laboratory diagnosis requires the detection ANA and anti- Scl-70 antibodies. While the etiology remains unknown, better understanding of the disease, have improved the treatment and overall disease prognosis.
