Abstract

In clinical research, questionnaires are one of the most frequently utilized data collection instruments. Despite their ease of use and simplicity, creating reliable and accurate questionnaire instruments that can evaluate clinical problems remains a challenging endeavor and requires substantial organization, time, and effort to provide meaningful findings. This chapter will review the fundamentals of survey design, implementation, analysis, and strategies to increase survey response rates. You can find step-by-step instructions to start your clinical research survey at the end of the chapter.
