Abstract

The authors have investigated the influence of maternal-fetal immunogenetic disparity and maternal immunity on the weights of maternal lymphoid organs, fetuses, and placentas, as well as on litter size. In addition, the capacity of lymphocytes from the lymph nodes draining the uterus to respond to fetal alloantigens in vitro has been assessed.
