Abstract
Recent evidence suggests that minimally invasive approaches are safe and effective alternatives to open surgery in carefully selected patients with benign and malignant pancreatic disease. In this chapter, the role of laparoscopic and robotic approaches to resectable, borderline resectable, and locally advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) is critically evaluated, focusing on metrics of safety, feasibility, and oncologic outcomes.
