Abstract

The folding profiles of evolutionarily selected model proteins were discussed. The folding profiles of evolutionarily selected sequences in terms of free energy, F(Q), and the participation of native contacts, Q_j(Q), along a folding reaction coordinate Q were also investigated. The variations in the energy landscapes for small proteins by the sequence-energetic and topological perturbation were also presented.
