Abstract

The development of minimally invasive and robotic techniques in Pediatric Urology has been a slow yet steady progression over the last 4 decades. The emergence of new technologies and importantly the responses to those technological changes provides a unique insight into how surgery evolves and may provide insight into how we can anticipate and embrace its future. This chapter surveys the key themes in the evolution of Pediatric Urological MIS and robotic surgery.
