Evaluation of diaphragmatic injuries

Abstract

It is concluded from this review that there are more diaphragmatic injuries of the right side than previously recognized, visceral herniation is extremely uncommon with penetrating trauma, and most diagnostic parameters are highly unreliable in predicting such injuries.
