Particle size distributions of very low density lipoproteins (VLDL) in man were examined by electron microscopy. A comparison was made, between normolipidemic and hyperlipidemic subjects. The results showed that the VLDL fraction frequently contained particles between 100-250 Å in diameter and in some cases particles less than 100 Å were observed.
