Abstract
Drug-induced Liver injury is a common cause of Liver necrosis of exceptional severity, comprising more than 50% of all cases of acute Liver failure in the United States. Hepatotoxicity has been described for a large number of drugs, although the overall number of cases of each is quite low, given the number of prescriptions written.
