Abstract
Crohn's disease represents a heterogeneous group of patients who have different clinical phenotypes. Computed tomography enterography (CTE) has been validated and optimized over the recent years since its introduction in the past decade and now has a clear established role as one of the primary diagnostic tools in the evaluation of patients with Crohn's disease. This article describes the current clinical concepts in Crohn's disease activity assessment and the use of imaging as well as the typical imaging findings in different subtypes of Crohn's disease using CTE.
