Abstract

Several p-values in Table 3 has 3 p-values in the incorrect order that were switched during typesetting. The p-value for braced after 1 year should be 0.03, p-value after 2 years should be 0.31, and curve when braced should be 0.61. The correct Table 3 is as follows: (Table presented.) Curve magnitude (°), progression (°), and brace prescription of Exercise group and Control group at 1- and 2-year follow-up Exercise Group Control Group p value Baselinea 16.2° (2.5), n = 35 17.1° (2.9), n = 22 0.23 1 year: Cobba 16.1° (7.1), n = 34 18.1° (5.7), n = 19 0.27 2 years: Cobba 14.6° (8.3), n = 26 19.1° (7.5), n = 17 0.08 Change from baseline to 1 yeara − 0.3° (6.5), n = 34 1.2° (5.7), n = 19 0.39 Change from baseline to 2 yearsa − 1.7° (7.3), n = 26 2.1° (6.7), n = 17 0.09 1 year: maximum Cobb (when braced or at 1 year)a 16.4° (7.3), n = 34 20.1° (6.1), n = 21 0.05 2 years: maximum Cobb (when braced or at 2 years)a 18.6° (8.6), n = 28 20.8° (7.7), n = 18 0.39 Change from baseline to maximum Cobb, 1 yeara 0.1° (6.7), n = 34 3.1° (5.3) n = 21 0.08 Change from baseline to maximum Cobb, 2 yearsa 2.1° (7.9), n = 28 3.7° (6.9), n = 18 0.49 Braced (yes/no), 1 year 26% (9/35) 55% (12/22) 0.03 Braced (yes/no), 2 years 48% (14/29) 63% (12/19) 0.31 Curve magnitude when braced 24.3° 23.3° 0.61 1 year: curves progressed > 5° 24% (8/34) 33% (7/21) 0.63 Curves stable 56% (19/34) 62% (13/21) 0.66 Curve improved > 5° 21% (7/34) 5% (1/21) 0.14 2 years: curves progressed > 5° 19% (5/26) 29% (5/17) 0.48 Curves stable 50% (13/26) 65% (11/17) 0.34 Curve improved > 5° 31% (8/26) 6% (1/17) 0.07 aData are mean (standard deviation) The original article has been corrected.
