Abstract
There are three Boid species endemic to Madagascar, which represent two genera (Acrantophis, Sanzinia). We have characterized 10 microsatellite loci that are polymorphic in all three species. These markers will provide a system to study population segregation, population diversity, gene flow, and many other parameters. This data will be useful in planning and implementing conservation plans for all three of these endangered Boid species.
