Abstract

Patients suffering from cancer are at risk for arrhythmias due to their disease, comorbidities, and treatments. This article reviews the various sources of arrhythmia risk in the cancer patient. Chemotherapy-associated arrhythmias are described based upon drug class. Radiation-associated arrhythmias and radiation-associated cardiac implantable electronic device malfunction are described. Finally, this article reviews QT interval monitoring and prevention and management of QT prolongation.
