Abstract

Isolated avulsion fractures of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) from the tibia are uncommon. Further rare, are its association with a type C distal femoral fracture and a Hoffa fracture. Arthroscopic and open methods have been described to treat the tibial avulsion of PCL. We report a novel approach to repair the tibial avulsion of PCL when associated with a type C distal femoral fracture and a Hoffa fracture. We are not aware of any similar reports in the literature.
