Abstract
The purpose of this article is to discuss psoriasis and Reiter's syndrome as they relate to patients with AIDS and ARC (AIDS-related complex) and to asymptomatic carriers of the HIV virus. It is currently believed that between 1 and 2 million people in the U.S. are infected with the HIV virus,1 and psoriasis is a relatively common chronic papulosquamous cutaneous disorder affecting upwards of 2% of the population of the United States.2-4.
