Abstract
Theoretically we have considered a relay model for the passage of alternating current across an artificial phospholipid membrane with addition of uncoupling agents of oxidative phosphorylation. The impedance of the membrane has been found and the dependence of capacitance and conductivity on pH and on frequency analysed. The transitional current with rapid voltage clamping on the membrane has been calculated. A comparison is made with the model of carriers.
