Abstract
After triggering the final oocyte maturation with any agent, follicles at or above 18 mm size may still collapse or ovulate before or at the time of oocyte retrieval, even when stable LH levels were assured throughout the minimal or mild stimulation in women with diminished ovarian reserve and/or advanced reproductive age. We review measures to prevent such premature ovulation or follicle collapse to maximize the mature oocyte yield.
