Abstract
A new procedure has been developed to fabricate polymeric intravascular stents for improved gene/drug delivery. These new stents have been mechanically tested for drug loading capacity, resistance to transluminal pressure collapse, and flexion. They were found to be superior to previous versions of these stents.
