Abstract
Insufficiency fractures of the proximal tibia with non-union, are relatively rare and difficult to treat with ipsilateral osteoarthritis of the knee. We report a case of symptomatic osteoarthritis of the knee, with non-union of a stress fracture of the ipsilateral proximal tibia treated with posterior stabilized total knee arthroplasty with a long stemmed tibial component to stabilize the non-union fragments.
