Abstract
Fractures of the distal humeral physis and of the ossification centers of the epiphysis commonly present diagnostic and therapeutic problems when they occur in young children. Two young children with unusual and similar fractures of the distal end of the humerus recently were seen at our institution. They were shown to have a previousy unreported pattern of intercondylar injury. The purpose of this report is to describe the radiographic pattern and diagnostic evaluation of this unusual injury of the distal end of the humerus in young children.
