N1 - Funding Information: We are writing today to express our strong support for the BMRB and our concern for the impending stoppage of its funding from the National Library of Medicine. As detailed below, the BMRB has had an important role in our groups’ research, providing us and the structural community at large with a much-needed central repository for many types of NMR data and tools. We wholeheartedly encourage continued funding of this valuable resource. Funding Information: it is greatly worrisome that the BMRB in Madison, Wisconsin, is cur-rently facing the threat of losing its funding from the NIH National Library of Medicine. The BMRB serves as an absolutely essential repository for the curation of experimental data that underpin the structural and dynamics studies by NMR spectroscopy.
