N2 - Prefixation of the plasma membranes of cultured baby hamster kidney cells and human fibroblasts with glutaraldehyde can induce an anomalous distribution of surface anionic sites. However, such glutaraldehyde induced changes do not appear to occur in isolated inner mitochondrial membranes.
