Abstract
Early detection and hospitalization in women with mild preeclampsia may prevent eclampsia. In the event of severe pre-eclampsia or eclampsia, delivery is indicated for the benefit of both mother and fetus. Thereafter, pathologic changes of pre-eclampsia and eclampsia, including major multiple organ system dysfunction, undergo complete reversal.
