Abstract

Acterial infections of newborns: delayed sterilization of cerebrospinal fluid in Gram-negative bacillary meningitis, prophylaxis for Group B streptococcal infection, nosocomial infections due to aminoglycoside-resistant enteric bacilli and infections associated with invasive procedures in high-risk neonates.
