Abstract
This chapter aims at discussing the possible complications after a pediatric patient has undergone surgical intervention for spondylolisthesis. General complications, including surgical site infection and bleeding are included. Specific complications related to the diagnosis of spondylolisthesis are neurologic deficits, pseudoarthrosis, instrumentation failure approach specific complications, and dural tears. The diagnosis, incidence of specific complications, and management strategies are discussed. A review of neuromonitoring is included to help with the identifying impending neurologic deficits.
