Abstract

The crystal structure of Rab escort protein (REP) determined in complex with Rab geranylgeranyltransferase (RabGGT), and a new RabGDI-lipid structure shed new light on how these two related proteins recognize different protein components in Rab prenylation and recycling pathways.
