Antepartum fetal monitoring: When, what, and how

Abstract

Antepartum testing -standard of care in high-risk pregnancies -can reduce incidence of fetal death to a level below that in the "low-risk" population. In summarizing the various methods of antepartum fetal testing, the author clearly describes how to perform each test, interpret results, and proceed with follow up.
