Abstract
We will summarize methods applied in women with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and profound diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) to activate primordial follicle growth. All of these procedures are considered experimental, while more data from various centers are still pending. Some techniques require removing the ovary for a postponed autotransplantation, and some others are based on platelet-rich plasma injections or stem cell-based approaches.
