Abstract

A procedure for counting liquid samples containing S35 in a gas-flow counter is described, employing stainless steel cups roofed by thin aluminum foil. Using this procedure, it was found that, following an intravenous dose of S35-labeled sulfate in a normal man, 93.9% of the administered radiosulfur was recovered in the urine and 0.6% in the feces.
